Ken Hrica joined Century Accounting & Financial Services full time in 1991, after working for several years in public accounting with Ernst & Young. With almost 35 years at Century, Ken has recently taken over the firm and its management. The value he brings to his clients lies in his vast experience, working with hundreds of individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations. Ken’s hands on approach includes getting new clients’ records up to date, helping new clients properly set up their books, assisting in making decisions on business structures, and payroll advice, such as should you issue a 1099 vs. a W-2. He advises all clients, new and long term, in many other financial areas of their business including tax planning and tax preparation. He also helps clients deal with the IRS, from back taxes to installment agreements.
His CPA designation requires him to stay up to date on the ever-changing tax and accounting regulations by taking the mandated Continuing Education courses.
When Ken is not working with his clients, he enjoys golfing, boating, and being outdoors.
Tracey Hrica joined the firm in 1995 as a bookkeeper. She subsequently earned the designation of Certified Bookkeeper and then studied and earned the designation of Enrolled Agent(EA), which enables her to prepare personal and business tax returns and represent clients before the IRS. To maintain the designation of EA, she must complete yearly continuing education in the areas of personal and business taxation. Continuing education in bookkeeping and general accounting is required to keep her Certified Bookkeeper certification up to date.
Working closely with her clients, Tracey’s primary areas of concentration are new client set up and QuickBooks support. As a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she works closely with clients who rely on QuickBooks for the day to day running of their business. Tracey has expertise in both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
Alan Stokes was the previous owner of Century Accounting & Financial Services. He was in business for over 32 years and appreciates the dedication and hard work it takes to grow a successful small business. Alan’s passion and expertise are tax planning, tax preparation, and financial services. Alan must maintain his CPA designation with continuing education, in addition to keeping his financial services and insurance licenses up to date.
Donna Stokes, previous co-owner, shares her husband Alan’s vision in helping small businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profits realize their potential. The couple has worked together since the beginning of Century Accounting & Financial Services. Donna concentrates on Business Development and is passionate about meeting business owners and listening to the everyday concerns that keep them from sleeping well at night. Donna works tirelessly to uncover what hinders their success and then introduces the accounting team that will ultimately offer solutions to help their business grow.
Michelle Siegmund joined Century Accounting & Financial Services in 2012. Michelle has recently been promoted to office manager. In addition to her new responsibilities, her primary area of concentration is working with existing clients and their bookkeeping needs. She handles bookkeeping, financial statement and bank reconciliation preparation, as well as sales tax returns. Michelle also has extensive expertise in payroll, including monthly and quarterly returns, and any related audits. Michelle’s dedication to all of her clients is an asset to the firm and one of the reasons Century Accounting & Financial Services has a reputation for exemplary customer service.

Abigail is the newest addition to our team at Century Accounting & Financial Services. Most often, she will be the first voice you hear when you call our office and the friendly smile that greets you when you visit us. Before joining our team, she had dedicated the last few years to caring for her aging grandmother. Although that was time she wouldn’t trade, she is very excited (you’ll be able to tell) to be working in an office environment and is already committed to learning everything about Century Accounting and our awesome clients.
Some very interesting facts about Abigail – She plays the trombone and plays in an all-volunteer community band, called Middle River Concert Bank. The group plays for people that can’t get out to hear live music. Abigail also does hoola-hooping, loves to swim and read in her spare time. She can’t wait to meet you!
